The Blue Anchor is the perfect place to MEET, TREAT and EAT. The restaurant specialises in preparing fresh, locally sourced ingredients always cooked to order. The Bar is warm with an open fire in the Winter and serves the very best beers including The Rusty Anchor especially brewed by McMullens just for the Blue Anchor. There is a fabulous wine list, offering most wines by the glass, so you can work your way through...rude not too.

On warmer days outside, the lavender edged terrace comes into its own. Have a cocktail or share a platter here, or indeed dine from the alacarte menu. After a walk in Verulum park pop in for a coffee. Whatever you want to do is ok at the Blue Anchor.
